In February 2023, a devastating earthquake hit Turkey and Syria, killing more than forty thousand people. SME Daily, a respected Slovak newspaper, partnered with Magna, a leading Slovak humanitarian organization, to raise awareness about these earthquakes and call for support. SME used their instant news app to send a notification urging users to help. Within a minute, people across Slovakia received a message comparing the deadly earthquake's magnitude to their phone's safe vibration, calling them to assist.
